Sunshine and Reeva in China Story
My name is Sunshine, and I have the best friend in the whole world. Her name is Reeva, and she’s a shiny blue bike. Together, we travel all over the world!
One day, we decided to go to China. We packed our bags with lots of snacks, a map, and a camera. When we got there, we were amazed. The cities were so big and busy! There were tall buildings everywhere, and the streets were filled with people.
We rode Reeva to the Great Wall of China. It was huge and old, and we could see it for miles. We climbed up to the top and took a picture. It was a really cool feeling to be standing on such a famous place.

Next, we went to Beijing, the capital of China. We visited the Forbidden City, a huge palace where the emperors used to live. It was so beautiful inside! There were lots of colorful decorations and statues.
We also saw the Terracotta Army, an army of thousands of clay soldiers. They were all different sizes, and some of them even had horses. It was like a real army, but made of clay!
We had so much fun exploring China. We tried new foods, like dumplings and noodles. We learned how to say hello in Chinese, which is “ni hao.” And we made lots of new friends.
One day, we decided to go to a small village in the countryside. We rode Reeva for a long time, and we saw beautiful mountains and green fields. When we got to the village, we were greeted by friendly people who invited us into their homes. They showed us how they made traditional Chinese crafts, like paper cutting and calligraphy. We even got to try some of their delicious homemade food.
We spent a few days in the village, learning about Chinese culture and traditions. We learned how to play traditional Chinese games, like mahjong and go. We also learned about Chinese festivals, like the Spring Festival and the Mid-Autumn Festival.
After leaving the village, we continued our journey to Xi’an, another famous city in China. We visited the Muslim Quarter, a colorful market filled with shops selling spices, teas, and souvenirs. We also saw the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist temple that is over 1,300 years old.
We had a wonderful time exploring Xi’an. We ate delicious street food, like lamb kebabs and noodles. We also visited the city walls, which are still intact and offer stunning views of the city.
Before we left China, we visited Shanghai, a modern city with skyscrapers and neon lights. We visited the Oriental Pearl Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the world. We also took a boat ride on the Huangpu River and saw the Bund, a famous waterfront promenade.
Shanghai was a very exciting place to visit. We saw people dressed in traditional Chinese clothing walking side by side with people in modern business suits. We also saw people riding bicycles, scooters, and cars. It was a busy and bustling city, but it was also very beautiful.
When it was time to go home, we were sad to leave China. We had so many amazing experiences and made so many great memories. But we knew that we would be back someday to explore more of this fascinating country. And we couldn’t wait to see where our next adventure would take us!
