The Oaktree and the reeds
Nothing in the world is more powerful than nature itself. Even the biggest animal, the tallest tree and the strongest man are all powerless against nature. Which is why we should appreciate and respect nature, like the reeds in this story do.
An oak tree standing tall and strong thinks very highly of itself. Not just that, the tree also thinks that the reeds are too delicate and constantly makes fun of them. Of course the reeds are hurt but they believe that nature is stronger than everything else. One day a gust of wind makes the oak tree sway and reeds bend. The oak tree makes fun of the reeds once again. What happens next? Does the oak tree continue to mock the reeds? Do the reeds keep quiet?
